    • Software EngineerJan 2026 — Present

I work on operator-facing software and supporting engineering infrastructure for industrial material-testing equipment. My primary focus is making machine workflows, real-time test data and reporting accessible through a coherent application platform.

    Selected contributions

    • Designed and implemented four React/TypeScript operator web applications for universal testing, concrete/cement compression, CBR soil testing and Marshall stability testing.
    • Developed common application patterns for tests, methods, results, calibration/settings, localization and reports, adapting the flows to each machine family.
    • Built a shared, npm-distributed Report Designer integrated into all four applications.
    • Developed an on-device update service for ARM64 Debian touch panels and a multi-app launcher for demo environments.
    • Built an Electron-based release-management tool targeting Linux, Windows and macOS.
    • Created CI/CD workflows and multi-track release processes for application delivery.
    • Authored the bilingual UTEST Brand & UI Spec Book and UTEST Backend Book to document frontend consistency and backend integration.
    • Contributed targeted features and fixes to an existing .NET 8-based web application.

    Scope

The underlying C++/Qt and Go backend services were implemented by other members of the team; my work included integrating with their APIs and documenting the broader architecture.
